At the Family Medical Centre, we want to make our patients feel they are getting the best treatment both physically and mentally.

There are a variety of self referral therapy services that we offer, including:


Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies:

Nottingham and Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies is a free and confidential NHS service designed to help with common mental health problems such as stress, anxiety and depression. Anyone aged 18 years or over and registered with a GP can access support, though a GP referral is not necessary as you can self-refer.

Kooth:

Kooth is a mental health service that allows patients to sign up anonymously for mental wellbeing support. Some of the features of Kooth are discussion boards where individuals are able to start or join conversations with other community members; helpful articles with tips and experiences; as well as having your own daily journal so you are able to track your thoughts and feelings and reflect on how your journey is going.
