Appointments

Consultations with doctors, and other health professionals, are by appointment only. They can be made in-person or by telephone.

Routine Appointments
You will be offered the first routine appointment, with the doctor of your choice. This may not be for some days.

Urgent Appointments
If you have a problem, which needs to be seen urgently, you will be offered an appointment for the same day.

Emergencies
If you think there is a medical emergency, please let the receptionists know, and you will be put through to the doctor on call.

Cancellations
If you are unable to come to an appointment please cancel it as soon as possible, so that another patient can benefit. Missed appointments are the main reason why patients may have to wait to see a doctor.

In case of sudden collapse or severe chest pain, call 999

Chaperone

If you need a chaperone during a physical examination please let us know.

Other Languages

If you need a language interpreter, please tell reception which language you require, when you make your appointment.
We are able to use Languageline, a telephone service, if necessary.
